Love Letter Bible is a free ministry of ALTARED Church. This page explains, in plain language, what we save and why. The short version: we save only what's needed to make your reading experience work, we never sell your data, and we show no advertising.
What we save
If you create an account, we store your name and email address so you can sign back in, and the reading things you choose to make: highlights, notes, bookmarks, your place in each book, and reading-plan progress. If you read without an account, those live only on your device and never reach us.
Team members who help edit and narrate the translation have additional records (such as applications and proposed edits) so the editorial work can be attributed and reviewed.
Audio narration
The audio Bible is narrated by Pastor Michael Cocchini and streamed from our own secure servers. Listening preferences (speed, equalizer, ambient sound) are saved so the player sounds the way you left it.
What we do not do
We do not sell or rent your information. We do not run ads or ad trackers. We do not share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing.
Basic, private usage telemetry
We keep simple, private counts of things like pages read and chapters played, sent directly to our own ministry server. This helps us know which books to record next. It is not used for advertising and is not shared with anyone else.
Deleting your data
You can permanently delete your account — and everything stored with it — from the My Reading page under “Account.” If you signed out and used the app locally, simply clearing your browser storage removes everything. For any other request, contact us through ALTARED Church.
Questions
This ministry is run by volunteers at ALTARED Church. If anything here is unclear, reach out through the church website and a real person will answer.
